TUF 27’s Tyler Diamond announces PFL signing

The Professional Fighters League has added a top featherweight prospect to its ranks.

I signed with a promotion back in early March, but never got to announce it due to the Corona Virus. I’m super happy to say I signed with @pflmma. Unfortunetly because of Covid-19, they had to move back this years season to begin next spring. • As disheartening as it is, I’m happy I’m with a top-notch promotion that recognizes my talent & the exciting style of fighting I bring to the table. • I’m going to utilize this time to expand opportunities & continue to get better. • • • #MillionDollarMan #ManifestDestiny #PFL #Iridium #MMA #HWPO #LFG #BlueCollar #OrovilleCA

Like the rest of the PFL roster, Diamond (11-1) will have to wait until 2021 to fight for the organization as it recently announced that it was canceling its 2020 season due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 27-year-old is coming off of back-to-back wins against Justin Linn and Jon Neal. Diamond was a standout on TUF 27, a season comprised entirely of undefeated fighters, but was knocked out of the semifinals of the show’s featherweight tournament by Jay Cucciniello and then he lost his lone UFC appearance by majority decision to Bryce Mitchell at The Ultimate Fighter 27 finale.
